New: Video Showcases on Member Profiles and Follower Notifications for Videos

Your Videos, Front and Center
We're excited to announce two updates that make it easier to share your content and keep your audience in the loop.
Videos Tab on Member Profiles
Every member profile now includes a Videos tab showing your active YouTube videos as embedded players — visitors can watch them right on your profile. Your videos (and your articles) appear as soon as they're Active, no ad placement required. Just add a video and it's on your profile.
Follower Notifications for Videos and Articles
Member following just got more powerful. Until now, your followers were emailed only when you posted an article. Now they're notified when you save an article or YouTube video as Active:
- Videos included: When you share a new video, your followers get an email with the video thumbnail and a link to watch it on your profile.
- Instant on activation: No need to purchase a placement — saving your content as Active is enough to announce it.
- One email per item, ever: Followers are notified only the first time something goes Active. Toggling it off and on again never re-sends.
- You're in control: Every add and edit screen now has a status selector — create as Disabled if you're not ready to announce, then flip to Active when you are.
For API Users
Paid members can now create YouTube ads programmatically with POST /api/youtube-ads/create — see the API docs for details. Videos created as Active through the API notify your followers too.
