Altadena Rise Up -- Hoodie ($49.99), tee ($24.99), joggers ($39.99). The phoenix logo says everything. After the Eaton Fire, this name hits different.
Pasadena Thorns & Roses -- This one has a jacket at $89.99 that I've been eyeing. Feels more fashion-forward than straight streetwear.

The Story Behind This
There's something about putting on a hoodie that actually means something.
Not just a hoodie you grabbed because it was on sale, or some fast-fashion drop you'll forget about in six months. I'm talking about one that carries a place, a community, a whole feeling. That's what I was wearing when I filmed my latest reel -- a Made In Dena Pasadena hoodie, walking down the street while S Claz's track "Pasadena" played in the background. And honestly? It hit different than I expected.
Who Is S Claz?
If you're from the 626 and you don't know S Claz yet, let me fix that.
S Claz Productions is a Pasadena-based creative company doing the kind of work that actually builds culture -- custom printing, original music, and a full documentary centered on Pasadena itself. They're not importing aesthetic from somewhere else and slapping a city name on it. This is homegrown, through and through.
The track I used for my reel, "Pasadena" featuring Harold Blue, The Grinch, and Paco Swartz, came out of their studio and it sounds exactly like what it is -- people who actually love this city making music about it. There's a difference between performing local pride and actually having it, and S Claz has it.

Made In Dena x S Claz: Two Brands, One Mission
Made In Dena isn't new to me. My first brand deal was with them -- the Bulldogs Shield hoodie I wore in front of PHS felt personal in a way I didn't fully expect when I agreed to it. That's the thing about this brand: they're not selling you a vibe. They're selling you back a piece of where you're from.
The S Claz collab extends that same energy. Music, merch, documentary -- it's a whole ecosystem of people saying "this place matters, and we're going to keep saying it."
Why This Matters More Right Now
I can't write about Altadena without acknowledging the Eaton Fire.
January 2025 changed the west side of this city in ways that are still hard to fully process. Families lost everything. Neighborhoods that looked one way for decades looked completely different overnight. And in the middle of all that, there were people asking: how do we help?
One real answer -- not the only answer, but a real one -- is buying local. Supporting the brands that are rooted here. When you spend money at Made In Dena or S Claz, that money doesn't disappear into a corporate supply chain somewhere. It stays in the community. It goes back into the culture.
Altadena is rebuilding. That's not a metaphor -- it's literally happening. And one of the ways communities rebuild is by keeping their local creative economy alive. The brands, the music, the art. That stuff isn't separate from recovery. It's part of it.
S Claz is doing something real. Made In Dena is doing something real. And you can be part of it for the price of a hoodie.
Go grab something at sclaz.com/madeindena. Wear it somewhere. Tag where you're from.
Dena forever.
